Roaming The Outback
Ep6 Culgoa Floodplain National Park Qld 2
Culgoa Floodplain National Park is a remote park in outback Queensland, around 230km SW of Saint George. Formerly Byra station, it now protects 61900ha of low-lying alluvial floodplains. A great place for a remote camping trip to a less visited park, to enjoy a week camping in silence.
In part 2, I visit the Nebine creek for birdwatching and to meet the local kangaroos, Hillview homestead, Nebine creek campgrounds and Myola station ruins along with exploring the surrounds on my solo trip.
